Sanskar
Vatika(s) would be
set up in various locations of towns and
cities across the
country, where a nature friendly, holistic
and healthy environment/atmosphere conducive
for facilitating the children to imbibe
human values would be created. These sanskar
vatika(s) would represent the cultural
diversity of the regions. These sanskar
vatika(s) would be specially created centre(s)
where children would love to go, perform
multifarious activities and also interact
with their Guru(s) and peer group.
A cluster of five sanskar vatikas would be
set up at one place so that some facilities
and infrastructure could be commonly used by
sanskar vatika(s) situated in that cluster.
during the first phase 50 sanskar vatika(s)
would be setup in delhi and NCR regions.
These sanskar
vatika(s) would be technically
advanced. The vatika(s) would be equipped with
modern gadgets & equipments like computer,
monitor, home theatre with LCD screen, music
system, Facilities like Games (indoor & outdoor),
Library, Yoga & Meditation
and equipment for cultural programme musical
instruments, sports, Address system; equipments,
scooty/bicycles, water cooler, fridge, generator,
invertor, UPS, broad band connection, power
connection, telephone connection would also
be made available.
Programmes & Activities
Sanskar Vatika(s) would
organize multifarious especially designed creative
programme/activities
in an innovative manner so that children,
along with fun, pleasure & enjoyment,
would imbibe positive attitudes and human
values in their subconscious, unconsciously.
All activities in sanskar-vatika(s) would
be organized as per daily schedule under
the aegis of Sanskar-Guru. These activities
would be conducted according to age groups
with an objective to inculcate human values
and to develop the child spiritually, emotionally,
socially, mentally and physically.
Performing Art such as Songs, Rhymes, Music,
Dance, Drama, Role Plays Lullabies, Group songs
and Puppetry etc
Spritiual Activities such as Prayer, Yoga,
Meditation, Recitation from old scriptures
of different religions etc.
Literary Activities such as Folktales, Poems,
Poetry recitation, Story telling, Cross words,
Comics and Quiz Programmes, Debates and Discussions,
Competitions etc.
Creative Art & Craft such as Drawing, Painting,
Crafts, Clay modeling, Mask Making & Toy
making etc.
Audio-visual Programmes such as Audio cassettes,
Jingles, Music albums, Docu-drama films, Tel-films,
Music Video films, Cartoon films, Features
films and other Audio/Video programmes etc.
Games and Physical activities such as Plays,
Board games, Computer games, Climbing, Riding,
Sliding, Swinging, Drills, Exercises, Racing,
Khokho, Kabbaddi and Other indoor/outdoor games
etc.
Social Activities Besides the above, there
will be other Social and outdoor activities
such as plantations, social service, cultural
programme, celebration of festivals, workshops,
symposiums, short term camps, tour, excursion,
visits to historical/religious places and interaction
with children belonging to different socio-economic
strata etc so that children may experience
harmony and affinity with nature and society.
All activities in sanskar-vatika(s) would be
organized as per daily schedule under the aegis
of Sanskar-Guru. These activities would be
conducted according to age groups with an objective
to inculcate human values and to develop the
child spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally
and physically.
The Experts have identified three different
age group i.e. 2 to 4 years, 4+ to 7 years
and 7+ to 10 years. To cater to different age
groups, the activities in these vatika(s) would
be conducted in three shifts. The morning shift
will be akin to a Play School for children
between 2-4 years. The 2nd and 3rd shift would
function in the afternoon for school going
children between 4 to 7 and 7 to 10 years so
that they may be able to participate in Sanskar
Vatika Programmes without any disturbance to
their formal education.

started in the sanskar vatika(s) form
6th April 2008 , for which the enrollment
of the children would commence in february
2008.
